CT Group organises Worldwide Bhangra online competition

More than 170 participants participated from India, UAE, Canada, Australia and Italy

Jalandhar, May 8, 2020: Following ahead the singing competition, Department of Cultural Affairs, CT Group of Institutions organised an online Bhangra competition titled “Worldwide Bhangra in d Lockdown” in which more than 170 participants under 3 age categories, 6-12 years, 12-18 years and 18 years and above participated.

The contestants from India, Italy, UAE, Canada and Australia sent their Bhangra videos which were later uploaded on social media platform. The judges namely Gurkaran Singh Gill from Australia who is a member of Surtal Sabhyacharak Sath; Baldeep Singh from Canada who is a Director of Folklore Bhangra Academy in Montreal; Sukhjinder Singh from England who is the Director of Vasda Punjab Academy and Neetiraj S Shergill from India who is a Lok Rattan Awardee had a tough time in adjudging the contestants.
