CT Group hosts Body Building & Open Women Physique Championship
Sukhdeep Singh from Amritsar bags the title of Mr. Punjab Above 90 category
Jalandhar, January 17, 2022: CT Group of Institutions hosted Senior Mr. Punjab, Mr. Jalandhar, Body Building & Open Women Physique Championship organised by Jalandhar Amateur Body Building Association at Sardarni Manjit Kaur Auditorium, CT Group of Institutions, South Campus, Shahpur.
With the aim to promote health and fitness amongst the youth of Punjab, the organizers gave the heartiest welcome to 170 participants from various zones across the state. The deemed guest of the event remained Hon’ble Padma Shri Pargat Singh, Cabinet Minister of Punjab along with World Body Building Champion Prem Chand Degra, Harpreet Singh Vice Chairman, CT Group, Sumit Sharma, Owner Nova Fitness Group and Rishi Raj, Owner- HR Industries and Kris Gethin Gym.
All the contenders were yearning with full dedication to exhibit their fitness goals for the most coveted title of Mr. Jalandhar and Mr. Punjab, along with the alluring rewards and cash prizes. They participated in various categories like Mr. Punjab Below 55, Below 60, 80 etc along with Mr. Jalandhar Below 60, Below 75 and Above 80 etc.
Out of the day long championship, Sukhdeep Singh from Amritsar bagged the title of Mr. Punjab Above 90 category; Pardeep Verma stood second under the category of Mr. Punjab Below 65 and Ujjain Singh stood third under Mr. Punjab above 90 category.
CT Group Vice Chairman Harpreet Singh congratulated all the winners and said, “Bodybuilding is crucial for one’s health. Many women also came forward to take part in this fitness championship. People are paying more attention to their fitness, especially in the times of COVID. And it is important for your overall well-being too.”
Parveen Kumar, General Secretary, Jalandhar Amateur Body Building Association thanked all the participants and guests for making this event a grand success and promised that such fitness events will be organised on regular basis in order to provide platform to budding bodybuilders.
