Theater artists enact ‘Badshaht Ka Khatma’ play at CT Group
Jalandhar, November 9, 2021: The theater artists from Junoon Theater Group enacted a very emotional and meaningful play titled ‘Badshaht Ka Khatma’ at Sardarni Manjit Kaur Auditorium, CT Group of Institutions, South Campus, Shahpur.
The students enjoyed this emotional play enacted by artists namely Deepanshu, Raman, Rajinder, Anmol, Sarabjit, Diksha, and Jatin and it was directed by Sunny Akki and written by Saadat Hassan Manto.
Telling about the play, director Sunny Akki who played the role of Manmohan said, “This one-act play is based on the life story of a boy who likes freedom and wishes to fall in love with a girl. One day, he gets a call from a girl and gradually, he falls in love with her voice. But after a few days of talk, she stops calling him for no reason that makes the boy fall ill, resulting his loss of life.”
CT Group Managing Director appreciated the work of theater artists and said that such stage plays are very fruitful in explaining meaningful messages to the masses.
